"Going Live: On Stage & On the Road"

How are Irish musicians cutting through the live music scene?

The next SelfMade event is all about getting the show on the road - performing, booking shows, promotion and touring. We've got an awesome line-up seasoned performers, Æ MAK, Mango Dassler, Ailbhe Reddy, and Grainne Hunt and the evening is hosted by Turning Pirate Founder and Lost Lane Programmer, Úna Molloy.

The Going Live panel will open up some of the fundamental questions about building a live music presence. We’ll be discussing logistics, touring, and festivals as well as what our panel have loved, hated and learned in their years on the live scene. The discussion aims to give new artists genuine advice on how to self-manage their booking and live promotion, how to plan and budget for their first tour, and looking ahead to build a team around their live-project. We’ll wrap up the main discussion with a Q&A with the audience. Come along and join the conversation!

Following the SelfMade format, our event will open and close with live, stripped back performances – from Gráinne Hunt and Ailbhe Reddy.
